Hi, it's me again, back to tell you my story! I joined my family in 1994 and quickly learned that playing up the sweet and innocent puppy act would pretty much keep me out of trouble. And I could have been in trouble a lot! Mom always says that I was her dream come true, but I don't remember her mentioning that the day I ate the big holes in the kitchen wall. Or when I shredded the telephone books. Or especially when I pulled the food coloring off the counter and turned myself green. Hey, it was St. Patrick's Day, and I was feeling festive!

Because of my antics, I eventually got a bit of a reputation and the nickname 'Bad Dog.' Of course, I was never really bad...just a little, um, impulsive. I had a special talent for sucking things into my crate. Paper towels, blankets, expensive raincoats --- I could do it all. But I think I reached a personal best the day the petsitter quit. She left a note saying that I would "benefit from serious obedience training" because I jumped up on her in the yard. Hey, she refused to give me the ball! I didn't mean to scratch her. Really!

Anyway, thanks to my charming personality and good looks, I became Champion Chammi before I was two. I really loved the life of a show girl...traveling to exciting places, bouncing around motel rooms, and doing the hokey pokey in the ring! One nice judge even gave me a big win in spite of the fact that I kept trying to grab all the bait in the ring. Hey, I had to keep up my strength with some power snacking! A few years later, I took time out of my very busy schedule to accumulate some nice BOB, BOS, and Brood Bitch wins. All in a day's work, you know.

Since I've always been a have-it-all kinda girl, I decided to give motherhood a try. I found the whole experience to be highly overrated. Of course, I was an excellent mom, but children are just so demanding. I even put my kids in the gifted and talented program, but they still wouldn't listen! And just when I thought my job was complete and I could finally get some rest, they'd show up on our doorstep when their families went on vacation, expecting me to entertain them. I don't remember the last time I took a nice trip to someplace exotic! Don't get me wrong, I do love my children, but I sure wish they'd show a little appreciation. A nice gift of freshly made liver would be a good start.

Well, I sure hope you've enjoyed visiting with me and hearing all about my awesome accomplishments! I'm still a very active girl, but do enjoy relaxing around the house with my favorite stuffed bear, and sleeping under the covers until I get hot and wake my parents up in the middle of the night by panting in their faces. And, I'm still a counter surfer extraordinaire. I even enjoy my new role as Grandma Chammi, especially when my grandkids give me presents! In all seriousness, I know that I've brought lots of happiness to my family over the years, 'cause they're always telling me how lucky they are to have me. And you know what? They're right! See ya soon!
